The British Council is offering a free online course focused on the IELTS test (International English Language Testing System). Be familiar with all the parts of the test, learn about useful tips and understand how the test is assessed.

 

The course, by Chris Cavey, starts on May 11 and has a duration of six weeks.

Rupert Herington, a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds, will be at the EUITT to give a talk as part of our Around the World in English series.

The conference will be held on Wednesday, 8 May at 12:30 in Room 3005.

This talk will focus on particular aspects about the country of Britain such as its regions, people, languages & dialects, historical background, the current political situation and its economy, to help you answer the question: What is great about Great Britain?

Rupert Herington is a Senior Teaching Fellow at the University of Leeds. He is involved in the teaching of English of Academic Purposes courses to international students at the University of Leeds as well as international marketing and student recruitment.
